Messaging of order updates

Fenwick Software’s SMS Integrator leverages the use of APIs to send SMS messages with the touch of a button. This happens in real time so there is no delay between sending the SMS and the customer receiving it. The SMS API also provides a near immediate response to confirm if the SMS was successful. SMS Integrator is Fenwick’s latest Gold Module, FG36.

SMS Integrator can greatly improve communications with customers which enhances their experience with your company, as well as improving communication with your sales people.

Outgoing Messages

The SMS Integrator module provides a queuing service for periodic dispatch if required, and/or instant dispatch—quicker than emailing. It allows for notification batching, whereby certain notifications are only sent out periodically, say 9am every Monday. Each SMS has an attached log to make sure you can track any issues or cases where a resend took place.

Inbound Messages

Receiving replies from customers is also possible, this potentially changes the way a customer service team can confirm customer orders—greatly reducing time spent on the phone. Customer responses can feed directly back into NAV, acknowledging the arrival of orders, or advising possible issues with an agreed open order. The SMS Integrator module was developed with a variety of scenarios in mind, such as:

  • Notifying customers, at the start of the week, when each of their deliveries can be expected
  • Customer confirmation of the delivery date of goods
  • Alerting sales people to changes in shipment dates for their Sales Orders
  • Sending document approval reminders

SMS Integrator can greatly improve communications with customers which enhances their experience with your company, as well as improving communication with your sales people so that they can quickly follow-up with customers if order shipment dates change.

SMS integrator can work well with other existing Fenwick Gold Modules such as our Advanced Notifications Module.
