Timesheet Manager
The Timesheet Manager allows workers to record their time against Jobs and Job Tasks.
Customers, Jobs etc are maintained in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Jobs may be classified by Time Class – Chargeable, Investment, Overhead or Leave – to facilitate analysis. Timesheet entries and explanatory notes are entered by employees using a browser.
A Timesheet Interface Controller imports released timesheet entries into NAV. All released timesheet entries with a date up to and including a cut-off date are loaded into a specified batch. Work is priced automatically according to the pricing rules set in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and then processed using NAV’s standard Jobs functionality.
