"Fenwick Software has provided a prompt, first class service
with regard to software development and IT support for over
twenty years."

Noel Brett,
Principal, Griffith Hack,
Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys

Griffith Hack

Griffith Hack is one of Australia's leading firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and Intellectual Property lawyers, with over 200 staff and offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

Griffith Hack provides a full range of services to protect its clients' ideas by carefully developing applications for intellectual property rights and subsequently defending those rights. This ranges from advising clients on the patentability of innovations, preparing patent specifications, filing and prosecution of local and overseas patents and trade mark registrations to enforcing client rights against infringers.

In 1985, Fenwick Software custom built a system for Griffith Hack to process patents and trade marks, and has looked after it ever since. Over the subsequent years, the system has been enhanced to handle new legislative and business needs, deployed to new offices and migrated to new hardware platforms.

"It is a real benefit, and unusual in this industry, to be able to talk directly to the original developers when we need changes made. They have been able to meet our very tight deadlines time and time again over the last twenty years" Eytan Epstein, National IT manager, Griffith Hack, Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys.

Today, Fenwick Software is engaged helping Griffith Hack to implement its replacement - the Australian developed, industry standard intellectual property management package called InProtech.

Fenwick's consultants have been engaged in the full range of project activities during the new implementation, including advising and assisting with software evaluation, project planning, business case preparation, gap-fit analysis, business workflow analysis, acceptance testing, data conversion and package setup and configuration.
