Chris Johnstone – Commercial Manager

Fenwick Software is now entering the next phase of its planned evolution, with business ownership expanding from the founder and Managing Director (Peter Fenwick) to include two long serving staff members acquiring equity in the firm. As part of this evolution, the business is re-organising leadership roles, responsibilities and decision making and has now added a Commercial Manager role to the leadership team.  

The Commercial Manager will manage the day to day business operations, and have responsibility for financial management; and, in collaboration with the leadership team, allocation of resources across projects; and take a key role in building client and supplier relationships; and driving new business opportunities.  

Chris Johnstone has been appointed to this role. Chris is a Chartered Accountant who worked in the profession with PricewaterhouseCoopers and William Buck prior to taking on senior finance roles in various industries including Government, Energy, Construction, Transport and Logistics.
