New staff appointments

By Peter Fenwick

Fenwick Software has been a sponsor of the Swinburne BIT program since 2000. This excellent course delivers articulate IT professionals. During their course, each student spends five months in work experience with two different sponsors. The students gain life and work skills, and their studies become more relevant. And the sponsors gain because it gives them an opportunity to evaluate the future graduate and if suitable to offer him/her a job.

Sam Kosky, who did five months work experience with us in the second half of 2008, has now joined us full-time. He joins many others who have trodden this path before, including current Senior Consultants David Love and Brad Foot.

Mark Jennings, who is in the final year of his BIT course, is undertaking his five months work experience from March until July.

For us, Swinburne’s BIT program continues to be an excellent way to find and recruit quality staff.
